We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to EyeCare Optometry Associates, P.C. and introduce you to our entire staff. We will continue the same quality care and products provided by Dr. Moerschell and want to earn your trust in meeting all your eyecare needs. Our intentions are to remain open for business while we conduct a brief remodel and office set up at 291 Independence Blvd. Building # 4 suite # 110. We will resume eye exam appointments on Oct. 24th and merge with our home office by the end of 2024 at 4554 Va Beach Blvd, Pembroke Square #980 ( formerly Pembroke Mall ), directly beside DSW Shoes and Latitude Fitness.

Dr. Nathan Bond is from a small one stop light town at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the son of a country physician. He is a 1987 graduate of Va. Commonwealth University and obtained his optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1992. Dr. Bond has been seeing patients for all their eye care needs since 1994 inside Pembroke Mall and built a beautiful new practice just outside the mall beside DSW Shoes and Latitude Fitness when Pembroke Mall closed at the end of 2022.

Dr. Athamandia Perry, the daughter of Dr. Bond, is a 2017 graduate of Longwood University and obtained her optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2021. Dr. Perry moved back to Va Beach after graduating to practice optometry and gifted Dr. Bond and his wife their first grandson in May of 2022. Our master licensed optician is Eric Folsom, who is a local resident for his entire life. He has worked in the optical field for 31 years, 29 years with Dr. Bond. Our 2nd licensed optician Dana Lavoie, who grew up in Boston area, has lived in Va Beach since 1996 and also worked in the optical field the past 29 years and 22 years with Dr. Bond.

Our remaining staff is composed of office manager/ insurance specialist Suzette Espiritu, who grew up in the Philippines and has worked with Dr. Bond his entire career. Meko Wilson is from Windsor and has worked with Dr. Bond for 20 years. Pam Bond who is Dr. Bond’s wife of 37 years and is also an insurance specialist. Matthew Perry, Dr Perry’s husband of 5 years, is an optometric assistant and Tiffany Martz, Dr. Moerschell’s optometric assistant for the past 4 years who will remain at the current location.

Our goals at EyeCare Optometry are to provide thorough comprehensive eye exams each year and meet all your eye care needs in a professional, friendly, and family oriented atmosphere. We listen, advise, and guide all patients in order to surpass all expectations and provide superior customer service. Our jobs are not complete until we have provided you with the experience, exam, glasses and/or contacts and professional services that are to your satisfaction and exceed that of our competitors.
